Dr. Michael Braunstein is deeply devoted to the field of veterinary medicine, consistently pursuing additional knowledge and education. This commitment allows him to offer the latest advancements in veterinary care to his patients. He received his B.S. in Biology from Kansa State University in 1973 and graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. Under the guidance of Dr. Huisheng Xie, he received mentorship and successfully completed his Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. Dr. Braunstein established Pleasant View Veterinary Clinic in 1979 and later grew the practice to include Juniata Veterinary Clinic in 1996. Dr. Braunstein moved from Pennsylvania to Texas to continue providing exceptional veterinary care. Dr. Braunstein now resides in Chester, VA. He finds joy in the company of his four-legged family members and cherishes moments with his beloved partner, Sara, along with his daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren.
